This male vocal quartet has (since their debut in 1987) established itself as Norway's most prominent ensemble for the performance of a cappella early music--we celebrate their wonderful Christmas disc.

NOTE: All of the music on this program is from a recording by the pre-eminent Norwegian vocal quartet Quattro Stagioni, founded in 1987. For a decade, they have presented Christmas programs in Oslo's medieval Gamle Aker Church, where this was recorded. They are joined for their program "Middelalderjul" ("Medieval Yule") by soprano Ane Carmen Roggen.
