🔊 The Flemish in Europe

From 1400–1600 many of the most accomplished musical giants were of Franco-Flemish origin: Orlande de Lassus, Guillaume Dufay, and Giaches de Wert, to name just a few. In this live performance from the 1992 Holland Early Music Festival at Utrecht, the Netherlands Chamber Choir features the music that traveled south and west with Flemish composers to enrich the rest of Europe musically.
