The Pro Musica Antiqua at the Library of Congress

The first ensemble to perform medieval music in half a millennium was the Pro Musica Antiqua of Brussels directed by American Safford Cape. In the late 1940's and early 1950's, two benchmark performances were recorded at the Library of Congress by this seminal group. This week Robert Aubry Davis is joined by Rich Kleinfeldt, regular host of the Library of Congress concerts, to hear the sounds that inspired a generation's love for early music.
